Solve iOS App Crashing Issues



It is really irritating when an app crashes on the first time you open it.  Many users have reported crashing problems on their iOS devices while using Instagram, Facebook, Google+, Skype and other such apps. Users state that a soft reset of device can solve this issue and yes, it works most of the times however isn’t an all-round solution. There are a few more techniques to fix this issue which are being discussed below:
 
Soft Reset
This is the first thing that everyone does to their iOS device when they face an app crash. The ‘soft reset’ releases the memory by killing the apps and gives you a fresh start. Perform the follow steps to do a soft reset on your iOS device.
·         Press the power and home button at the same time.
·         The slide to power off the iPhone appears however do only hold the button down.
·         The iPhone shuts down with the screen going blank. Continue keeping the button still and after that the iPhone reboots with the Apple logo coming up on the screen.
In most cases, the crash issues get solved by this. Now open the app that continued crashing before.



Reinstall the App
If ‘soft reset’ does not work then the user can un-install the app from your device and install it again. And in this case, user needs to install the app via iTunes and afterward transfers it to his/her device through syncing. If no option is left with user, user must go with this. Though it is not a great method to follow, yet a “can-follow” alternative. Below are the steps to perform this:
·         Un-install the app form your iOS device.
·         Search for the app in iTunes and download it.
·         Connect the iOS device to your PC.
·         Sync the device to install the app successfully.
·         Disconnect the device when sync gets completed, restart the device and start using app.
Proceed onward to the following step if crashing still holds on.

Clear Memory
At times, users open up a number of applications at the same time which causes a lot of memory being used. In this way, when user opens another application, it just won't start because of insufficient memory and subsequently results an app crash. This issue can be fixed by swiftly pressing the Home button twice to open up the multi-task switching bar and by closing all the unnecessary running apps in the background. And then start using the crashing app.
Sometimes it happens due to insufficient memory storage, so try to free up space on your device so that no app crashes result due to low storage.
